Lot 571: A Collection of Vintage Costume Jewellery and Accessories including an Excalibur Brooch
An assortment of vintage costume jewellery and accessories. The collection features a large sunburst-style spray brooch in yellow-toned metal, set with multiple white round pearls and faceted accent stones, housed in a presentation box bearing the Excalibur maker’s mark. Also included is a large silver-toned circular accessory, resembling a Celtic hounds plaid brooch or belt buckle, featuring embossed knotwork and zoomorphic motifs. The lot further contains a yellow-toned metal necklace with a floral-style pendant set with a single pear-cut red gemstone, a heavy yellow-toned metal mesh-style chain, and several pairs of silver-toned metal earrings with textured finishes. Additionally, there is a silver-toned brooch featuring a central blister pearl within a petal-like surround. The items are primarily constructed from base metals with yellow and silver-toned finishes. No purity hallmarks or signatures are visible on the pieces.
