TIMED SALE TO END FRIDAY LAST CHANCE
Two wall mirrors of contrasting styles with black painted frames. The first is a circular wall mirror featuring a deep-profile black frame, likely constructed from wood or a composite material. The mirror plate is a single circular sheet set deep within the frame. The second is an arched wall mirror designed in the style of a traditional window pane. The frame consists of a rectangular grid containing nine square panes, topped by an arched section with a central semi-circular motif and radiating muntins. Both frames are finished in a matte black paint. There are no maker’s marks, signatures, or labels visible on the front or sides of either item.
Condition report:
The circular mirror shows significant silvering degradation and foxing, particularly visible as brown and orange discolouration around the upper perimeter and lower edge (photo 1). The frame of the circular mirror exhibits surface dust and minor scuffing. The arched window mirror shows small areas of paint loss and white scuff marks along the outer edges of the black frame (photo 2). The glass panes in the arched mirror appear intact without visible foxing, though the entire surface is covered in a layer of fine dust.
