A 9 carat yellow gold signet ring featuring a flat, polished rectangular head. The shoulders are designed with a stepped, tapering profile that merges into a plain circular band. The interior of the band is struck with a series of hallmarks in individual rectangular cartouches: a sideways anchor symbol, the decimal fineness mark 375, and a capital letter C. The 375 mark identifies the metal as 9 carat gold, while the anchor symbol signifies the Birmingham Assay Office. A small adhesive white paper label bearing the handwritten characters 9k is attached to the packaging, though the ring itself is hallmarked 9ct.

The ring is in good overall condition with evidence of moderate wear. The signet face and band show fine surface scratches and abrasions consistent with regular use (photo 1).
