A Scheppach radial arm pillar drill press presented in a wall-mounted workshop configuration. The machine features a central polished steel column supporting a cast metal motor and belt housing finished in black and blue. A blue and silver adhesive label on the side of the belt housing reads scheppach in stylized lowercase lettering. The unit is fitted with a radial arm bracket and a cast iron base plate, currently secured to a rectangular wooden mounting board. The tool includes a graduated depth measurement scale located below the power switch and a standard drill chuck. A black electrical cord is wrapped around the main body. The motor is housed in a black cylindrical casing at the base of the head assembly. An orange and white price sticker is present on the side of the belt housing, and a small white adhesive label with the numbers 16 16 is applied below it.
Condition report:
The drill shows signs of significant workshop use and long-term storage. Surface oxidation and rust are visible on the drill chuck, the polished steel column, the radial arm bracket, and the cast iron base plate (photo 1). The plastic and metal housings exhibit accumulated dust and grime throughout. The chuck key is missing from the assembly. The red safety guard appears detached and is only partially visible to the right of the mounting board (photo 1). The machine is currently mounted to a non-original scrap wood board. The electrical functionality and motor operation are untested.
