Lot 437: Portable Electric Garden Shredder
A portable electric garden shredder featuring a yellow and black polymer and metal construction. The unit is designed with a top-mounted circular feed hopper lined with rust-affected metal and a secondary side-mounted rectangular chute for branch feeding. The main cylindrical body is supported by a tubular metal frame equipped with two plastic wheels for transport. A standard electrical power cable is attached to the motor housing. A large yellow adhesive warning and instruction label is applied to the main body, featuring various safety icons and a multi-line text block that is not clearly legible at this distance. A smaller white rectangular adhesive label reading 28 23 is present on the front of the yellow housing. An additional instructional plate is located near the side chute, though the text is partially obscured.
Condition report:
The equipment shows signs of significant heavy use and outdoor storage. There is extensive surface wear and dirt accumulation across the yellow main body and black plastic components (photo 1). The interior of the metal feed hopper and the tubular metal frame exhibit visible surface oxidation and rusting (photo 1). Scuffing and abrasions are present on all plastic surfaces, particularly around the base and chute areas. The electrical cable shows surface dirt but no visible breaks in the insulation. The mechanical and electrical components, including the motor and internal cutting blades, are untested and the operational status is unknown.
