Lot 436: Mountfield Petrol Rotary Lawnmower with Rear Grass Collector
A petrol-powered walk-behind rotary lawnmower by Mountfield. The machine is constructed with a red-painted metal deck and a black four-stroke engine. It features a black tubular metal handle assembly with integrated control cables and a pull-start handle mounted to the engine housing. The mower is equipped with two smaller front wheels and two larger rear wheels. At the rear, a grey plastic and mesh grass collection bag is attached. A black and silver label on the front of the deck reads M o u n t f i e l d. A yellow circular adhesive sticker on the deck reads 2 Year Warranty. A small yellow adhesive safety label located on the side of the deck near the discharge chute reads 08457 023674.
Condition report:
The item is in used, uncleaned condition with significant surface dirt and dried grass clippings visible across the deck, wheels, and engine (photo 1). The red paint on the metal deck shows signs of wear, including scuffs, scratches, and areas of surface oxidation and rust, particularly around the front label and discharge area (photo 1). The wheels show heavy wear and are coated in dried mud. The plastic and mesh grass collector is dusty and exhibits surface scratching. The black finish on the handles shows wear and light surface corrosion on the metal components. The mechanical functionality of the engine and self-propulsion system has not been tested.
