A group of three cut glass and lead crystal serving pieces. The first item is a deep circular bowl featuring a complex pattern of intersecting diagonal mitre cuts forming a diamond grid, accented by vertical fan motifs at the rim. The base of the bowl is decorated with a multi-point starburst hobstar. The second piece is a flared compote or footed bowl featuring similar diamond-cut panels and vertical fluting. The body rests on a bulbous pedestal base supported by three integral rounded feet. The third item is a circular tray with a serrated rim and a central starburst design. Affixed to the upper surface are six circular glass rings, likely intended to hold condiment jars, egg cups, or small glasses. The material exhibits high clarity and light refraction consistent with lead crystal, with sharp, precisely cut edges. There are no manufacturer names, signatures, or etched marks visible on any of the three pieces.
Condition report:
The glassware is in good overall condition. The footed bowl shows no chips to the three feet (photo 2). The deep bowl retains a sharp rim without visible significant losses to the fan cuts (photo 3). The circular tray appears intact with no cracks, though the serrated rim and the applied rings show minor surface wear and small flea bites typical of age and use (photo 4). No significant clouding or internal fractures are visible in the photographs.
