A collection of glassware featuring various techniques and styles. The largest piece is a trumpet-shaped vase in clear lead crystal, decorated with a complex array of deep-cut geometric patterns including pinwheels, starbursts, and diamond hatching, finished with a scalloped rim. Accompanying this is a clear glass flower frog or stem vase featuring a green open-work glass grid at the top, supported by a tapering stem and a circular foot. A smaller modernist vase is included, featuring a cylindrical form with a heavily textured, bark-like exterior and an irregular rim, showing a slight amber tint to the lower section. The collection also contains a small hand-blown art glass vessel with a flared, ruffled rim; the interior displays a vibrant, iridescent swirled finish in orange and red tones, while the exterior is a mottled deep purple and blue. A small white adhesive label reading 14 is present on the rim of the large cut crystal vase, and a similar label reading 14 is present on the rim of the iridescent vessel. A small orange adhesive label reading 328 is affixed to the purple exterior of the iridescent vessel.
Condition report:
The items are in good used condition. The cut crystal vase shows sharp definition to the facets with no visible chips to the points or scalloped rim. The flower frog shows no signs of fractures to the open-work grid. The textured cylindrical vase and the iridescent vessel appear free from cracks or significant surface losses. Minor shelf wear consistent with age and use is visible on the underside of the bases.
