Lot 294: Round Bobbin Turned Painted Wood Wall Mirror
A contemporary round wall mirror featuring a decorative bobbin-turned or spool-turned frame. The frame is constructed from a continuous series of spheres, finished in a sage green paint. The mirror plate is inset and appears to be modern flat glass. The construction method reflects a revival of the late 19th-century Arts and Crafts aesthetic. A small orange circular adhesive label is affixed to the top right of the frame, and a white rectangular cardboard hanging tag is attached to the lower right side via a plastic fastener; neither label contains legible text denoting a manufacturer or origin in the provided imagery. The frame shows multiple areas of wear to the painted finish, including small chips and scuffs that expose the underlying material (photo 1). There is visible separation and gapping between several of the individual spheres along the frame\'s circumference (photo 1). The mirror glass appears intact without visible cracks, though dark accumulation is present at the junction where the glass meets the frame (photo 1).
