Lot 614: An Assortment of Vintage and Contemporary Costume Jewellery in a Presentation Box
An assortment of vintage and contemporary costume jewellery presented in a black hinged display box with a white satin-lined interior. The collection includes a gold-tone flexible mesh collar necklace and a multi-strand necklace consisting of silver, gold, and copper-toned mesh cords decorated with five silver-tone beads inset with clear stones. The lot also features a gold-tone stick pin with a heart-shaped pendant set with clear rhinestones and a gold-tone brooch with a suspended pear-shaped faux pearl. Further pieces include a silver-tone butterfly brooch pavé-set with clear round and marquise-cut rhinestones, a floral-motif brooch with dark enameled petals and a central clear stone, and a gold-tone ring with a green cabochon surrounded by clear stones. A white adhesive label is affixed to the interior lid of the box reading 17 17. No other maker marks, signatures, or metal hallmarks are legible on the items.
Condition report:
The jewellery components generally appear to be in good vintage condition. There is minor surface wear and light oxidation visible on the metal finishes across the lot. All stones appear present on the butterfly brooch. The presentation box shows minor scuffing to the exterior surfaces.
