Buyer's Premium:

A pair of aviation prints on paper after original illustrations by Brian Knight. Each work depicts a primary British World War II aircraft in profile, accompanied by detailed technical and situational sketches. The first print features a Vickers Wellington Mk Ic bomber in Royal Air Force camouflage, bearing the squadron code WS-T and serial number L2488. It includes secondary illustrations of a Bristol Pegasus engine and the prototype aircraft K4049. A printed signature reading BRIAN KNIGHT is visible in the lower right of the plate. A printed label inset into the mount reads VICKERS WELLINGTON Ic 149 Squadron, Mildenhall. The second print depicts a Supermarine Spitfire Mk I in camouflage livery with markings LZ-F and serial N3211. This work is accompanied by detail sketches of the cockpit interior, engine components, and secondary aircraft views. A printed signature reading BRIAN KNIGHT is visible in the lower right. A printed label inset into the mount reads SPITFIRE MK I (Summer 1940). Both prints are housed in matching gilt-finished wooden frames with white matting under glass. Small orange and white adhesive price or inventory labels are present on the upper corners of the frames.

Condition report:

The prints appear to be in good overall condition with no visible signs of foxing, staining, or tearing behind the glass (photo 1). The gilt-finished wooden frames show minor surface wear and small scuffs to the edges consistent with handling. The matting appears clean and free from significant discolouration.
