A heavyweight decorative textile, suitable for use as a furniture throw or circular table cover. The piece is constructed from a woven upholstery-weight fabric featuring a textured red chenille-style ground. The pattern is a traditional large-scale floral damask in cream and gold-toned yarns, incorporating foliate medallions, acanthus scrolls, and decorative lattice motifs. The edge is finished with a substantial, deep-twisted cord fringe composed of alternating strands of red and cream. No maker labels, tags, or marks are visible on the textile.
Condition report:
The textile is in good used condition with no visible stains, tears, or holes in the primary view (photo 1). The decorative cord fringe shows minor tangling and light wear consistent with use.
