Lot 149: A Trio of Decorative Textiles Including a Chanel Branded Plush Throw
A trio of contemporary decorative textiles comprising two woven throws and one branded plush blanket. The cream-coloured plush throw blanket is constructed from a soft synthetic fleece featuring a central brown embroidered logo of two interlocking letter C shapes. It is finished with a dark charcoal border band featuring white block lettering. The readable characters on the band spell the maker name CHANEL. The reverse of the blanket is lined with a white, high-pile textured faux-shearling material. A clear plastic tag fastener is attached to the top edge. The second item is a woven patchwork textile composed of rectangular blocks in navy blue, slate blue, forest green, burgundy, tan, grey, and charcoal. Several of these blocks feature a small-scale monochrome houndstooth pattern. The textile is backed with a plain tan-coloured woven fabric. The third item is a heavy woven throw featuring a brown and tan colour palette. The design consists of a large-scale windowpane check overlaid on a ground of smaller-scale checks and houndstooth weave.
Condition report:
The textiles appear to be in very good condition throughout. The cream plush throw retains a plastic tag fastener, suggesting it is in new or near-new condition. No stains, tears, or significant signs of wear are visible on any of the three items. The woven components of the patchwork and checked throws show no evidence of pulled threads or holes.
