Lot 608: A Collection of Vintage Frosted and Mottled Glass Lampshades
A collection of decorative glass lampshades comprising a set of matching tulip-form shades and a larger fluted shade. The tulip-form shades are crafted from frosted cream-coloured glass with a graduated peach-coloured tint towards the scalloped petal edges. One shade features a handwritten inscription reading FROST to the upper rim. The larger fluted shade has a wide form with a heavily ruffled rim and a mottled, textured finish in shades of green and brown. No manufacturer’s marks are visible on the items. Small orange inventory stickers are present on two pieces. One shade remains in protective bubble wrap.
Condition report:
The collection appears to be in good condition overall. There are no visible chips, cracks, or significant abrasions to the glass bodies or rims.
