Lot 8: A Cut Lead Crystal Spirit Decanter and a Pair of Matching Tumblers
A spirit decanter set crafted from heavy-gauge cut lead crystal, comprising one square-bodied decanter and two matching tumblers. The suite is decorated in a classic diamond and fan pattern, featuring a central horizontal band of deep-cut cross-hatching with radiating vertical sunburst motifs above. The decanter is designed with a star-cut base and a neck featuring horizontal facet cuts, and it is fitted with a faceted globular stopper decorated with deep vertical ribbing. There are no permanent etched maker marks or signatures visible on the bases or bodies of the items. Several temporary adhesive inventory labels are present, including an orange sticker marked 8 and white stickers marked 9 9 and 6.
Condition report:
The set is in very good condition. There are no visible chips, nicks, or cracks to the rims of the glasses, the neck of the decanter, or the stopper. The crystal exhibits high clarity and remains free from internal cloudiness or mineral staining.
