Lot 656: A Trio of Mid-Century Modern Bentwood Stools
A set of three mid-century modern stools. Each stool is constructed with a light-coloured wooden frame, featuring a circular bentwood seat rim and four tapered legs. The square-profile seats are upholstered in a coarse, textured weave fabric with a brown and beige chequered pattern. No manufacturer’s marks or brand stamps are visible on the wooden components, although small adhesive labels are present on the upholstery of each stool, including one orange rectangular label and two smaller white labels.
Condition report:
The upholstery on all three stools exhibits visible surface soiling and localized staining. The wooden frames show minor scuffs, scratches, and wear to the finish, particularly around the legs and seat rims, consistent with age and regular domestic use.
