Lot 399: A Traditional Turned and Fluted Mahogany Finished Floor Lamp with Pleated Shade
A traditional floor lamp, also known as a standard lamp, featuring a turned and fluted column. The central stem is constructed from dark-stained hardwood, possibly mahogany, which terminates in a stepped circular base. The lamp is topped with a large, tapered, concertina-pleated fabric shade in a dusty rose or salmon pink colour. It is fitted with a white electrical cord and a standard UK three-pin plug. No maker’s marks or labels are visible on the item.
