A trio of ceramic serving platters of various forms and decorative styles, likely of British manufacture, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. The first item is an oval earthenware serving platter featuring a blue and white transfer-printed floral pattern, in the style of the popular Asiatic Pheasants or Center Bouquet designs. It displays a central bouquet of roses and mixed flowers within a decorative floral border. The second item is a large rectangular platter with clipped corners, decorated with a teal green transfer-printed border of dense floral sprays and geometric motifs. The well of the platter shows a mottled teal ground. The third item is a large oval serving dish with a deep, fluted, and scalloped rim, finished in a plain white glaze. No factory marks are visible on any of the pieces. Two auction stickers are present on the front platter.
Condition report:
Items show signs of age and use consistent with utilitarian earthenware. The blue and white platter appears in good overall condition with minor surface scratching and kiln marks. The teal platter exhibits visible wear to the edges, including small chips and glaze loss along the rim. The white fluted dish shows general surface wear and some discolouration and staining to the rim. No major structural cracks or professional repairs are apparent.
