Live auction will start in __ days and __ hours

Start price: £2

Buyer's Premium:

A lot consisting of two distinct decorative and commemorative items. The first is a stylised sculptural head, executed in an Egyptian-revival style resembling Queen Nefertiti. It is cast in a copper-toned metal and mounted on a rectangular pale stone base, likely onyx or marble. The metalwork features geometric patterns around the neck and crown with dark patination in the recessed details. The base bears two small adhesive labels with the handwritten markings SL and 5. The second item is a polished black sphere, likely a resin or glass paperweight, commemorating the 2001 U.S. Open golf tournament. The sphere is decorated with gold-toned graphics including the Southern Hills Country Club logo, which depicts a bird perched on a golf club, and the text 101st U.S. OPEN and Southern Hills.

Condition report:

Both items appear in good overall condition with light signs of wear consistent with a retail or storage environment. The metal bust shows minor surface dust and age-appropriate wear to the copper-toned finish; the stone base appears intact without significant chips. The commemorative sphere exhibits light surface scratches and minor scuffing from handling. Adhesive labels and residue are present on the base of the bust.
