A collection of miscellaneous copper and brass domestic and decorative items. Included is a circular copper dish stamped to the underside with the marks for Severn, Ballarat, Australia. The lot also contains a copper ewer or jug with a flared brass rim and looped handle, alongside a small cylindrical brass measure featuring a wire bail handle. Further items include a tiered brass base with a turned profile, and various brass dishes and trays, notably one with a pierced, scalloped border. Also present is a tool with a turned wooden handle and brass mounting. These items are constructed using a combination of spun, pressed, and cast metalwork.
Condition report:
The collection exhibits an aged patina throughout with varying degrees of surface tarnish, oxidation, and light scratches consistent with age and use. One brass component bears an adhesive lot label marked 61.
