An Assortment of Decorative Ceramic and Porcelain Jars and Bottles
An assortment of decorative ceramics, including a porcelain jar in the style of 18th-century Chinese powder blue porcelain. The collection features various porcelain and ceramic vessels of globular form. The group includes an earthenware jar with a matching domed lid and circular finial, decorated with sponged white flowers with red centres on a cobalt blue ground. A small porcelain lidded jar features transfer-printed red rose sprays and green leaves on a white ground, while a porcelain bottle is fitted with a flat-topped, gilt-rimmed stopper and decorated with blue and green floral sprays. Also included is a ceramic jar with a matching stopper, finished in a mottled flambé-style glaze in shades of crimson, purple, and dark blue. The collection is completed by a porcelain jar decorated with a cobalt blue fish-scale pattern, featuring white reserve panels with butterfly and floral motifs and a gilt-lined rim, resembling 18th-century Kangxi powder blue porcelain. No manufacturer marks, factory stamps, or artist signatures are visible on the bases or bodies of the items.
The items generally appear to be in good condition. The blue fish-scale pattern jar is lacking its original lid. All items bear modern adhesive price labels and lot tags. No visible chips, cracks, or repairs are noted upon visual inspection.
