A Trio of Items Comprising an Amber Glass Carboy in a Wrought Metal Stand and an Enamelled Pot
A trio of items comprising a large amber glass carboy or demijohn, a metal stand, and an enamelled pot. The carboy is of cylindrical form with a tapered neck and is fitted with a cork stopper. It rests in a black-painted wrought-style metal stand featuring scrolled decoration. The accompanying item is a green enamelled metal coffee or tea pot with a fitted lid and a white interior. No manufacturer’s marks or hallmarks are visible on the primary objects; however, they bear orange and white auction labels with handwritten numerals 94 and 21.
The collection appears in good used condition, showing minor surface wear and dust consistent with age and storage. The enamelled pot exhibits minor wear to the finish, particularly around the spout. The glass carboy shows no visible chips or cracks.
