A Pair of Antique Gold Silk Style Textile Panels
A pair of large textile panels, likely curtains or heavy drapes, featuring a slubbed texture with a pronounced metallic sheen. The material is consistent with silk shantung or a high-quality synthetic equivalent such as polyester taffeta. The fabric is a solid antique gold or olive green colour with a textured, iridescent finish. No maker marks, labels, or signatures are visible on the textile. The panels are presented folded within a cardboard container.
The textiles show significant creasing and prominent fold lines resulting from storage. No visible stains, tears, or fraying are apparent on the exposed sections of the fabric. A full inspection of the internal lining and hems has not been performed.
