A domestic tea kettle featuring a formed copper body with visible brazed seams. The vessel is fitted with a fixed overhead handle comprising a copper grip supported by wrought brass scroll brackets, which are secured to the shoulder with rivets. The gooseneck spout is characteristic of 19th-century British metalware. The stepped lid is finished with a brass outer rim and a turned brass finial. No maker marks or stamps are present on the exterior surfaces. A small white adhesive label with the numeral 3 is affixed to the handle.
Condition report:
The kettle displays a warm, aged patina with areas of tarnish and light verdigris concentrated around the brass fittings and rivets. Scattered minor surface scratches and small indentations are present, consistent with age and domestic use. No major structural damage or repairs are evident.
