A collection of terracotta garden planters of rectangular trough form, comprising three larger troughs and two smaller troughs. Each planter is constructed from coarse red terracotta earthenware and features a simple, slightly flared body with a moulded rectangular rim. The items are utilitarian in design with no applied or painted decoration. Small yellow rectangular adhesive inventory labels are present on some surfaces. These planters are in the style of traditional Mediterranean or Tuscan garden ware.
Condition report:
The planters are in used, weathered condition, exhibiting a significant aged patina including accumulated dirt, mineral deposits, and areas of green algae and moss growth consistent with outdoor exposure. A notable chip is present on the upper rim of one of the nested troughs. Internal surfaces are heavily soiled. No structural cracks are visible from the exterior.
