Lot 384: A Regency style ebonised trestle dining table
A Regency style reproduction dining table, likely dating from the mid-to-late 20th century. The piece is of wooden construction with an ebonised black lacquered finish. The rectangular top features a single line of light-coloured stringing inset from the edge. The table is supported by a trestle-style base consisting of two vertical supports with scroll-cut profiles, connected by a central rectangular stretcher and terminating in out-swept feet. No maker marks or labels are visible on the piece.
Condition report:
The table is in fair condition. The top surface shows visible signs of wear, including multiple surface scratches, scuffs, and small adhesive labels. There is noticeable wear and loss of the ebonised finish along the edges of the trestle base and feet.
