Lot 271: A collection of four contemporary art glass paperweights with fountain inclusions
A collection of four hand-blown glass paperweights of spherical form, featuring internal decorative inclusions and controlled bubble motifs. The group is designed in the style of 20th-century British art glass, similar to the fountain patterns produced by Caithness Glass. The assortment includes one clear glass weight with a teal-green inclusion, one deep amethyst weight with a white swirling inclusion, one clear weight with a cobalt blue inclusion, and one pink-to-purple weight with a white inclusion. Each piece incorporates the bullicante technique with symmetrically arranged air bubbles. No maker’s marks or signatures are present; however, orange adhesive lot stickers are attached to the exterior.
Condition report:
All four items are in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or significant surface scratches.
