Lot 264: A collection of contemporary studio glass paperweights
A collection of spherical glass paperweights featuring various internal decorative inclusions. The collection includes examples with a central white latticino-style spiral encased in clear glass topped with a single large central air bubble, and a multi-coloured mottled internal inclusion in shades of cobalt blue, scarlet, and yellow interspersed with small controlled bubbles. Other designs include an internal pink and magenta speckled swirl with several controlled bubbles, and a translucent teal-blue internal abstract swirl form. All items are constructed from clear glass with no visible manufacturer names, etched signatures, or embossed marks. Each item bears a temporary orange adhesive label with the handwritten digits 2, 6, 4. These items are consistent with late 20th-century studio glass production.
Condition report:
The items appear to be in good overall condition. The clear glass remains bright with only minor surface wear consistent with age and display. No significant chips or cracks are visible.
