Lot 262: A Collection of Studio Art Glass Paperweights
A collection of studio art glass paperweights of various designs and techniques. The assortment includes a clear glass spherical paperweight featuring an internal teal-green core in the sommerso style, surrounded by white speckled inclusions and controlled air bubbles. Also included is a clear glass spherical paperweight containing internal spiralling canes of red and white glass in a ribbon-like pattern. The collection further comprises a clear glass spherical paperweight with an internal mottled feathered design in shades of black and white, and a spherical glass paperweight with a black ground decorated with internal white splash or spotted inclusions. No maker marks, signatures, or etched characters are visible on the bodies or bases. Three pieces retain orange adhesive lot labels.
Condition report:
The items are in good overall condition. Minor surface scratches and shelf wear to the bases are present, consistent with age and handling.
