Lot 246: A Collection of Glazed Ceramic Beatrix Potter Character Figurines
A collection of glazed ceramic figurines attributed to Beswick or Royal Albert, depicting various anthropomorphic characters from the Beatrix Potter series. The group includes Benjamin Bunny wearing a green tam-o-shanter with an orange pom-pom and a brown jacket; Tommy Brock the badger in a blue frock coat, red waistcoat, and yellow trousers; a rabbit character, likely Mrs. Rabbit, wearing a white bonnet with blue and pink striped ribbons and holding a handheld object; a pig character, likely Aunt Pettitoes, in a light blue dress with a white collar; and the Little Black Rabbit depicted in a green jacket carrying a yellow basket. Each figure is finished in a polychrome glaze. No maker marks are visible to the undersides of the bases from the provided perspective. Each item currently bears a small orange inventory sticker numbered 246.
