Lot 201: A Canteen of Flatware with J. Stead and Co Ltd Knives
A set of flatware comprising knives, forks, and spoons. The knives are constructed with stainless steel blades and cream-coloured composite handles. The blades bear the stamped mark J. STEAD and CO LTD, SHEFFIELD, STAINLESS. The accompanying forks and spoons are made of a silver-toned metal in a plain, rounded pattern. The collection is presented in a blue textured, fabric-lined fitted case.
Condition report:
The set is in good overall condition, showing signs of light use consistent with age. There is some surface tarnishing visible on the spoons and forks. The blue presentation case is intact with some minor external wear and scuffing.
