Lot 195: A large late 20th century Rococo revival style gilt finished wall mirror
A large rectangular wall mirror housed in an ornate gilt finished composite frame designed in the Rococo revival style. The frame features prominent scrolling foliate and acanthus leaf mouldings at the corners and a beaded inner border. The mirror contains a clear bevelled glass plate. No maker marks or signatures are visible on the item.
Condition report:
The mirror and frame are in good condition. The bevelled glass plate shows no significant signs of foxing or silvering loss. A decorative butterfly decal is present on the upper left corner of the glass.
