A lot consisting of a porcelain mantel clock and a decorated ostrich egg on a stand. The mantel clock is fashioned in the style of 19th-century French porcelain, featuring a teal green glazed ground with gilt-painted scrollwork and sunburst motifs. The case is further detailed with a transfer-printed pastoral vignette to the centre and hand-painted floral sprays. It contains a circular white dial with black Arabic numerals and a brass-tone bezel, powered by a quartz movement. The decorated ostrich egg features botanical motifs of a pink Protea and white lilies. It is mounted on a tripod stand with bird-form legs and a dark metal collar.
