Lot 11:
A pair of solid brass candlesticks featuring a traditional baluster design. Each piece is constructed with a flared sconce and a cylindrical neck above a multi-knop stem, terminating in a tiered, circular domed base. The items exhibit a cast and turned construction with a polished surface finish. No maker marks or signatures are visible on the exterior surfaces. The style and form are consistent with mid-20th century brassware produced by manufacturers such as Baldwin or Lillian Vernon.
The candlesticks are in good condition with minor surface wear and fine scratches consistent with age and use. There are small areas of localized tarnish and oxidisation. Adhesive labels are present on the bases of both items.
