Lot 108: A Trio of Decorative Items Comprising Two Woven Wicker Baskets and a Small Picture Frame
A trio of decorative items comprising two woven wicker baskets and a small picture frame. The baskets are constructed from thick, rounded natural fibres in a rustic, open-weave style in the manner of French willow harvest baskets, featuring integrated handles and one nested within the other. The smaller square picture frame features a mottled green and ochre marbled-effect finish. The frame contains a paper insert with an illustration and the quote: Perfection is attained by slow degrees; it requires the hand of time. The insert is marked FANCY FRAMES and © 1993 UNITED DESIGN CORPORATION.
Condition report:
The items are in good overall condition. There are no apparent breaks or losses to the woven basketry. The picture frame shows no significant wear or damage to the marbled finish. Adhesive auction stickers are present on all items.
