This lot consists of two items: a ceramic jug and a metal teapot. The ceramic jug is constructed from earthenware with a uniform cream-coloured glaze. It features a tiered cylindrical body and a large, integral loop handle. No manufacturer marks are visible on the vessel. The teapot has a low-profile, squat globular body made of plated metal, likely chrome or silver plate. It is fitted with a domed lid and a central finial, along with a curved handle made of a dark-toned material such as Bakelite or stained wood. A small white label with the number 61 is attached to the teapot lid, and an orange adhesive tag is present near the base of the ceramic jug.
Condition report:
The cream-glazed jug is in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or significant surface wear. The metal teapot shows signs of age and use, including pitting, tarnishing, and noticeable wear to the plated finish, particularly on the lid and upper portion of the body.
