A traditional three-piece garden bench constructed from reconstituted stone. The design comprises a thick, rectangular seat slab with a decorative moulded edge, supported by two square-profile pedestals. Each face of the pedestal supports is decorated with relief-moulded botanical motifs, including a large floral bloom resembling a sunflower and a cluster of fruit. The bench is characteristic of 20th-century British garden ornaments. No maker marks or signatures are visible on the surfaces.
Condition report:
The bench is in a heavily weathered condition consistent with long-term outdoor exposure. The seat slab exhibits significant dark environmental staining and lichen growth. The pedestal supports show prominent green moss and lichen growth, especially around the base. There are minor chips and surface abrasions typical of age and garden use. An orange auction lot sticker is present on the top surface.
