A group of Chinese export porcelain in the rice grain pattern and a decorative ceramic dish. The porcelain components include bowls and matching spoons featuring translucent linglong piercings. These are decorated with underglaze blue borders and central floral motifs in iron-red and green enamels, finished with gilded rims. The spoons feature underglaze blue geometric patterns on the handles. The interior walls of the bowls feature illegible red-painted characters, which appear to be contemporary factory marks rather than apocryphal reign marks. These porcelain items date to the mid-to-late 20th century. The rectangular ceramic dish, dating to the late 20th century, has a blue-glazed rim and a central transfer-printed illustration of anthropomorphic mice in a kitchen, with holly and ribbon motifs.
Condition report:
The items are in good condition overall. There is minor surface wear to the gilding on the porcelain rims consistent with age and use. Adhesive auction lot stickers are present on the interior and exterior surfaces of all items.
