Lot 51: A Collection of Decorative Porcelain and Ceramic Figurines, Trinket Boxes, and Tableware
A collection of various decorative ceramic and porcelain items comprising figurines, lidded trinket boxes, and small dishes. The figurines include depictions of children in traditional attire, classical figures, a winged cherub, and a pierrot clown, many of which feature hand-painted details. The trinket boxes include examples with transfer-printed designs such as classical scenes in the Fragonard style, floral motifs, and portraits, with some examples featuring metal hinge mounts. The group further contains a miniature terrestrial globe on a metal stand, a small hexagonal floral vase, and several small dishes, including a square dish inscribed Each new day has its own special happiness and another with an Imari-style pattern. Most items bear orange adhesive labels marked with the number 15. No maker’s marks are visible on the upper surfaces.
