Lot 10:
A pair of cast and turned brass candlesticks in the 18th-century Queen Anne style, likely dating from the late 19th or 20th century. Each candlestick features a flared candle cup and cylindrical socket over a multi-knop baluster stem. The stems are supported by stepped, octagonal bases. No maker’s marks or hallmarks are visible on the exterior surfaces. The bases feature small adhesive labels: a white label with the printed digit 9 and an orange label with the digit 10. These appear to be internal cataloguing or previous price stickers.
The items are in good overall condition with a dull patina. There is surface tarnish, light oxidation, and minor surface scratches throughout, consistent with age and use. There are remnants of adhesive and labels on the bases.
