Lot 489: A Pair of Contemporary Upholstered Headboards with Contrast Piping
A pair of matching contemporary upholstered headboards, featuring a rectangular form with rounded upper corners. Each unit is finished in a textured, woven blue fabric, possibly a linen-cotton blend or synthetic mix, which displays a subtle horizontal and vertical grain. The edges of both headboards are accented with contrast piping in a pale cream or pink tone. The construction appears to be a padded frame designed to be wall-mounted or attached to a bed base. A white adhesive sticker reading 14 is present on the top edge of the right-hand headboard.
Condition report:
The headboards are in good used condition. The fabric exhibits some areas of uneven shading and light surface shimmer, consistent with the nature of the woven material or light surface dust (photo 1). The contrast piping remains intact and well-secured around the perimeters. There are no visible tears, heavy staining, or fraying to the upholstery.
