A large rectangular wall mirror of narrow proportions, designed for vertical or horizontal mounting. The wooden frame features a burnished gilt-effect finish with a classical moulded profile. The interior edge of the frame is decorated with a continuous beaded border, while the outer edge displays a textured, slightly distressed surface. The mirror plate is flat glass with no visible bevelling. The corners of the frame are mitered. The back of the mirror is not visible in the provided imagery. A small white rectangular adhesive label is present on the lower left corner of the mirror glass (photo 1), bearing the printed numbers 77; this appears to be a temporary inventory or lotting sticker and is not a permanent feature of the object.
Condition report:
The mirror is in good overall condition. The gilt-effect finish on the frame remains largely intact with no significant chips or losses visible. The mitered corner joints appear tight and secure. The mirror plate is clear and free from foxing or desilvering. Some surface dust and minor smudges are present on the glass (photo 1).
