Timed sale of unsold lots
A collection of framed artworks, primarily comprising 20th-century British school landscapes and architectural studies. The group features a pen, ink, and wash drawing on paper depicting a dilapidated timber-framed building, signed William Dodd lower right. Also included is a watercolour and gouache on paper of a rural landscape with stone buildings, signed and dated M. Wood 1931 vertically to the upper right. The collection further contains a watercolour harbour scene and several other landscape studies in various media. The artworks are housed in a variety of frames, including dark stained wood, gilt, and painted finishes, most with wide card mounts.
Condition report:
The collection appears to be in fair condition overall. There is visible discoloration and light foxing to some of the paper supports and mounts. A piece of torn paper or tape residue is present on the mount of the work signed by M. Wood. The frames show minor scuffs, abrasions, and general wear consistent with age.
