Lot 346: Mid Century Modern Teak Framed Wall Mirror
A rectangular wall mirror dating from the mid-20th century, constructed with a solid teak frame. The design features a characteristic Scandinavian-influenced aesthetic with rounded corners and visible mitred joints. The frame has a slight inward-sloping bevel towards the mirror plate, which is recessed. The teak displays a warm, consistent grain pattern throughout. The back of the mirror is not visible, and there are no maker’s marks, signatures, or brand labels legible on the front or sides of the frame.
Condition report:
The teak frame appears to be in good structural condition with no visible cracks, splits, or significant losses to the wood. The mitred joints at the corners remain tight and flush. The mirror glass shows a clear reflection and is free from any visible foxing, silvering loss, or deep scratches across the surface as seen in the primary photograph. No dimensions are provided as no measuring device is visible in the image.
