Lot 163: A Large Shabby Chic Style Heart Shaped Multi Aperture Metal Wall Photo Frame
A large decorative wall-hanging photo frame constructed from metal wire and sheet metal, finished in a distressed grey and silver paint to achieve an antiqued iron appearance. The piece is designed in a large heart-shaped outline filled with scrolling foliate motifs, featuring several embossed leaves and six textured rosebuds. The frame contains six rectangular apertures with simple beaded-edge borders, each currently holding a black and white sample photograph protected by a transparent cover. The sample photographs feature printed text indicating standard photo dimensions, including 4 x 6 / 10cm x 15cm and 3.5 x 5 / 9cm x 13cm. The item is mounted on its original large rectangular cardboard retail backing. A small white adhesive price or inventory label is present on the top left of the cardboard backing reading 5 5.
Measurements: No dimensions are available as no ruler or scale is present in the photograph.
Condition report:
The item appears to be in good, unused condition and remains attached to its original cardboard retail packaging (photo 1). The distressed and scuffed appearance of the grey and silver paint is an intentional design feature to create a rustic or shabby chic aesthetic and does not constitute damage. The metal scrollwork and floral elements appear intact with no visible breaks or structural losses. The transparent covers over the apertures show no visible cracking or heavy scratching.
