Lot 162: Rural Scene with Vintage Tractor and Chickens (Signed)
A representational watercolor or print on paper depicting a rural farm scene. The composition features a vintage grey tractor, possibly a Ferguson model, parked beside a weathered timber-framed shed with a corrugated roof. The foreground and surrounding area are populated by overgrown green vegetation and several chickens, including a multi-coloured rooster in the lower right foreground. The artwork is rendered in a detailed illustrative style with a muted colour palette of greens, greys, and earth tones. A signature is present in the lower right area of the image, though the characters are not clearly legible. The work is presented behind glass, set within a cream-coloured mat featuring a pale pink inner border. The piece is housed in a wide, dark-stained natural wood frame with visible grain and knots. An adhesive white sticker bearing the number 9 9 is affixed to the lower left corner of the matting.

The artwork and frame appear to be in good overall condition. There is no visible evidence of foxing, staining, or tears to the paper (photo 1). The matting and glass are clean and intact. The wooden frame shows no visible structural damage, cracks, or significant losses to the finish (photo 1).
