An assortment of British domestic and stable-related brassware. The collection includes a pair of fireplace bellows featuring embossed brass plates with scrolling foliate and floral motifs secured to a leather and wood frame with a tapered brass nozzle. Also included is a cylindrical brass chestnut roaster with a hinged lid and a long hollow handle, and a cast brass footed trivet of triangular form with a pierced scrolling openwork design and a circular handle. The group further comprises two polished brass shoe horns.
The lot features two brown leather straps mounted with various cast brass horse brasses. One strap contains a notable commemorative brass featuring a sunburst design around a central red fabric insert, with a border reading EDWARD VII CROWNED 1902 and LONG LIVE THE KING. Another brass depicts a relief of a horse and rider with a banner below reading TALLY. The remaining brasses display various geometric and animal themes, including horses, dogs, and heraldic crests. A rectangular brass mount on one strap depicts a horse in profile.
