Lot 501: Contemporary Mixed Media New York City Skyline Panoramic Canvas Print
A large contemporary mixed-media work on canvas featuring a panoramic aerial photograph of the New York City skyline. The composition highlights the Midtown Manhattan district, including iconic landmarks such as the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, the MetLife Building, and the United Nations headquarters, with the Queensboro Bridge and East River visible. The photographic print is embellished with a dense application of gold-toned glitter across the building facades and sections of the water, providing a textured and reflective finish. The print is wrapped around the edges of an internal wooden stretcher frame. A small white circular adhesive sticker bearing the number 17 is located in the upper left corner. An orange rectangular adhesive label is situated in the upper right corner with hand-written numerals reading 301. No artist signature or date is visible on the surface.
Condition report:
The work is in good decorative condition with the glitter embellishment largely intact across the surface. There is minor rubbing and light wear to the canvas at the corners and along the edges. Two adhesive lot stickers are present on the face of the work in the upper corners (photo 1).
