Lot 400: A collection of a decorative wooden wall-mounted shelf and glass photo frames
An assortment of decorative items including a multi-compartment wall-mounted organizer shelf and several glass photo frames. The shelf unit is constructed from wood with a light blue painted finish and features decoupaged paper inserts. The front panel displays classic illustrations from the Beatrix Potter series, including characters such as Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny, while a side compartment is lined with green paper featuring a repeating butterfly pattern. The frames include two contemporary designs with large, curved glass panels held by slim, silver-toned metal borders, and a smaller rectangular frame with a dark metal border and a single flat glass plate.
An orange rectangular adhesive label is attached to the upper edge of the blue shelf reading 400. A white square adhesive label is also attached to the upper edge of the shelf reading 7. A second orange rectangular adhesive label is attached to the glass of one curved frame reading 400. There are no maker’s names or manufacturer’s marks visible on any of the items.
Condition report:
The light blue painted finish of the wooden shelf shows minor scuffing and wear, primarily located along the edges and corners (photo 1). The decoupaged panels exhibit light surface soiling and age-related toning (photo 1). The glass panels of the photo frames appear to be intact with no visible chips or cracks (photo 1). All items are dusty and the frames bear adhesive labels that will require removal (photo 1).
