This collection consists of a disassembled interior lighting suite in the Victorian revival style. The group includes components for a five-arm chandelier and two matching single-arm wall sconces. Each fixture is constructed with scrolling polished brass arms and central wooden elements featuring a dark mahogany-coloured finish. The suite is accompanied by seven matching white milk glass shades, each with a ruffled rim and a thin burgundy-coloured glass edge. Two additional frosted glass shades with etched floral patterns are included but do not match the primary set. The wiring consists of modern plastic-insulated cables in blue, brown, and green/yellow, connected with plastic terminal blocks. A small rectangular white label is adhesive to the wooden backplate of one sconce, though the characters are not legible. The exterior of the cardboard storage box bears a shipping label with a barcode, the number 221230000008, and the text EN CELERY and 6 PIECES.
Condition report:
The items are currently stored disassembled in a cardboard box (photo 1). The seven matching milk glass shades appear to be in good condition with no visible chips or cracks to the delicate ruffled rims (photo 1). The brass components exhibit minor surface dust and light oxidation consistent with age and use (photo 1). The wooden backplates and stems show minor surface scuffs but appear structurally sound (photo 1). The electrical components are untested and the fixtures require professional reassembly and safety testing prior to installation.
